Superstar couple Nicole Kidman and husband Keith Urban split
The couple has reportedly been living separately for months.
Nicole Kidman and Keith Urban's 19-year marriage has allegedly ended.
Several reports have confirmed that the power couple is heading for splitsville. They have reportedly been separated for months.
"Keith has acquired his own residence in Nashville and has moved out of their family home," a source told TMZ.
Their two teenage daughters, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, live with their mother amid the separation.
Kidman has allegedly been fighting to save their marriage. The last picture she posted of her country singer husband was shared in June.
"Happy Anniversary, Baby," she wrote. The couple tied the knot in Sydney, Australia, on 26 June 2006.
Her two children with ex-husband Tom Cruise, Connor Antony and Isabella Jane, attended the wedding.
However, just a few months after their big day, the couple faced one of their biggest challenges.
"We got married in June 2006, and barely four months into our marriage, the addictions that I had done really nothing about blew our marriage to smithereens,” he said at the 49th AFI Life Achievement Award ceremony last year.
Kidman, who was an award recipient, could be seen crying in the audience.
“I went into the Betty Ford Center for three months," Urban continued. "Four months into a marriage, and I’m in rehab for three months with no idea what was going to happen to us.”
Urban added that Kidman “pushed through every negative voice" during the difficult period and "she chose love".
The ordeal appeared to strengthen their marriage, which has been almost picture-perfect over the years.
In July, it was revealed that the couple had plans to become residents of Portugal. Kidman flew to the country without her husband to fill out a visa application.
Urban could not attend as he was on tour at the time. A source told E! News: "He is scheduled to submit his application at a later date that works with his tour schedule."
The couple owns a seaside apartment in Lisbon's posh Parque das Nações district. They also own property in America and Australia.
It's unclear if the Oscar winner, who reportedly has an estimated net worth of over $250 million, signed a prenup when she married the singer. Urban's net worth is said to be $75 million.
They have not commented on news of their separation.
