Pamela Anderson reacts to Meghan Markle copycat claims
Updated | By Entertainment Reporter
Did Meghan, the Duchess of Sussex, rip off Pamela Anderson's cooking series? The former 'Baywatch' star shares her thoughts.
Pamela Anderson sets the record straight about claims that Meghan, Duchess of Sussex, copied her cooking show.
Earlier this year, the duchess shared a first look at her new Netflix series, 'With Love, Meghan'.
The eight-episode series was initially set to debut on January 15, but was pushed back due to the devastating LA fires.
When the show finally premiered in March, Meghan's haters were quick to claim it was similar to Anderson's 'Pamela’s Cooking With Love', which aired in February.
"If you watch the trailer for Pamela’s new show, it’s a more authentic version of what Meghan was trying to achieve & it looks as though Meghan has copied everything! The trailers are so similar it’s freaky," one X user wrote.
Another user said, "This is SICK. Meghan Markle is copying everything from @pamelaanderson's show, even the reactions and gestures. I expect a cookbook from her at some point too."

Anderson dismissed the copycat claims during a recent 'Watch What Happens Live with Andy Cohen' episode.
Cohen played a game with the former 'Baywatch' star called 'Plead the Fifth.' In it, she was told three rumours about herself, and she could only plead the fifth to one of the stories.
The first rumour was about Meghan, and Anderson didn't hesitate to answer. "On a scale from one to 10, how much of a rip-off did you feel like 'With Love, Meghan' was of your show?" Cohen asked.
"One. I didn't," she replied.
While the 58-year-old says she didn't watch Prince Harry's wife's cooking show, she shrugged off the alleged similarities.
"I didn't invent cooking shows. So, I mean, she's just doing her thing," Anderson said.
Social media users praised Anderson's response.
"Already loved Pam, but I loved the way she handled the Meghan question," one Instagram user commented.
Meanwhile, Meghan celebrated her 44th birthday on Monday, August 4 - one day after Anderson's interview.
The royal's haters are no doubt fuming at Anderson's response, but it was a lovely early birthday present for her.
As Ever, the lifestyle brand the duchess launched earlier this year, honoured the businesswoman on its official Instagram account.
"Celebrating the woman behind it all. She pours her heart, vision & magic touch into every detail, and today, we raise a glass to her! Happy birthday to our founder @meghan 🥂."
