Rapper Jack Harlow's new album will drop on his birthday
Jack Harlow, known for hit songs such as 'Lovin on Me' and 'First Class', is gearing up for the release of his 'Monica' album.
American rapper Jack Harlow will release his fourth studio album soon.
The musician revealed the album's title, 'Monica', and release date on social media. "Monica. My new album. Available everywhere on my birthday, March 13th."
Harlow's did not reveal the inspiration behind the album's name, but fans are already speculating what the moniker could mean.
"Probably a lovey-dovey album coinciding with the name 'Monica Lewinsky,'" one fan said.
Some suggested Harlow could be a fan of the 'Friends' character, Monica, played by Courteney Fox. Others think 'Monica' is the code name for one of his exes.
The 27-year-old recorded his new album at the legendary Electric Lady Studios in New York City.
Jimi Hendrix, Frank Ocean, Stevie Wonder, Led Zeppelin, Lady Gaga, Taylor Swift, and Sabrina Carpenter are among the artists who have recorded songs at the studio.
Harlow's last album was 'Jackman' in 2023. His collaboration with Doja Cat, 'Just Us', was also the last time fans heard new music from the Kentucky native.
In June 2025, New Zealand singer Lorde revealed that she bumped into Harlow at Electric Lady Studios while recording her 'Virgin' album.
"Jack Harlow was working at Electric Lady when we were there towards the end of the record, and somehow ended up getting most of the album played to him. It was a very funny cool link," she told Zane Lowe in an Apple Music Interview.
"He's such a sweetheart. He was like, 'Your bars – these are bars.' I was like, 'Your words, not mine.'"
Harlow is expected to release new music before 'Monica' drops on March 13.
