RAYE shares the lead single from her upcoming album

Single one of chapter two. RAYE's new song has been described as a "sassy and sincere ode" to her search for a husband.
British singer RAYE has released a new single, 'Where Is My Husband!'.
The song is fans' first taste of what they can expect from her upcoming sophomore album.
According to a press release, the album will debut in 2026.
RAYE performed 'Where Is My Husband!' for the first time at the 2025 Glastonbury Festival.
She appeared at the festival alongside musicians such as Rod Stewart, Charli XCX, Doechii and Olivia Rodrigo.
"‘WHERE IS MY HUSBAND!’ is a sassy and sincere ode to RAYE’s search for her life partner and waiting for love," a press release stated.
"The explosive track is a fusion of funky brass, syncopated R&B beats and glossy soul pop, raw but polished, with RAYE’s trademark soaring vocals and stacked harmonies. This is nostalgia mixed with a sharp 2025 production."

RAYE's new album, which has no title yet, is the follow-up to 2023's 'My 21st Century Blues'.
In July, she told fans her new music is inspired by her personal aches and pains.
"I know it’s July, but I’ve been writing this song called 'The Winter Woman'," she said.
"The sad feelings we wrestle with do make great songs, I think, and considering this seems to be a chapter in my life where I am swimming through some personal aches and pains, I’d say this album is now beginning to move swimmingly."
RAYE will be going on tour in January 2026. She will visit France, Germany and the UK.
She announced that ABSOLUTELY and AMMA will be her supporting acts.
RAYE teased that the tour may contain new music.
"P.S the album is not done yet, okay, but let’s just trust the process," she said.

Meanwhile, RAYE has been unveiled as British Vogue's latest cover star. "My first ever cover," she captioned a picture of the October 2025 issue.
RAYE told the magazine that she has been single for a long time.
"My last devastating break-up was four, five years ago. I was like, ‘I’m gonna marry him.’ We was together for two years and it ended up not working out," she said.
"I have never experienced a more crippling emotion. It took me three, four years to get over him. Like, I can’t allow myself to fall in love again until it’s safe.”
As for finding her husband, RAYE does not appear to be in a hurry to find Mr Perfect. She is focused on her next album for now.
"I have a very high expectation of what I want to deliver. There’s going to come a season, once I’ve put this album out – it doesn’t need to do amazing but I just want it at minimum to do good and I want people who care about me to love it. I want to sell out the venues.
"Then I want to take a break and that’s my ideal time I would like my husband to find me, propose, then I’d like to have a baby. That’s what, two, three, four years? So that’s my plan.”
She also shared how her new album is different from her upcoming project.
"My first album was very devastating in parts. In the second album, I feel this need for hope for myself and wanting that to translate to others.
