International R&B singer Mýa, real name Mya Marie Harrison, has taken to social media to express her excitement about performing in South Africa.

The Grammy Award-winning star shared a short video on Thursday, telling her South African fans that she can't wait to be with them tomorrow (on Friday).

"What's up, South Africa? It's Mya, and I've got some exciting news for you. I'll be performing live at Ndlala Grandeur 2 on Friday, 21st of August, 2026, at Ndlala Arena in Pretoria, so get ready for an unforgettable night of classic R&B, timeless hits, and an incredible live music experience," she said.

"I can't wait to see you all there, so grab your tickets now at mzalaarena.co.za. And South Africa, once again, I can't wait to see you on August 21st. Yes, indeed. Let’s make herstory and history together," she shared in a video posted on Instagram.

The 'Case of the Ex' singer is known for her countless hits, which have made her a household name.

Mýa dominated the charts in the 90s after releasing her debut self-titled album in 1998 when she was only 18 years old.

The album's popular single 'It's All About Me', featuring Sisqó, remains a hit with her fans.

Her accolades include her Grammy win for 'Lady Marmalade', a collaboration with Christina Aguilera, Lil’ Kim and Pink.

Mýa's talents go beyond music. She also acts and starred as Mona Page in the Academy Award-winning film 'Chicago'.

South African fans are really in for a treat, as Mýa won't only be performing her timeless hits, but also some of her newer music.

Her latest album, 'Retrospect', was released in May 2026, and features some of her ’90s sound. The album also features various artists, including Snoop Dogg, Too $hort, and 21 Savage.

The show will also feature other local acts like Zonke, DJ Young and Paulette Neo.

Tickets for the show start from R2,000 for the back row and go up to R13,000 for the front row.

As Mýa prepares to take the stage in Pretoria, fans can look forward to a night filled with classic R&B, timeless hits and an incredible live music experience.
