Richard T. Jones talks about his love for Johannesburg
Actor Richard T. Jones was recently in Johannesburg for Comic-Con Africa, and he can't stop singing the city's praises.
Johannesburg is a vibrant city that attracts people from all over the world, including Hollywood stars.
One of the latest celebrities to sing the city’s praises is actor Richard T. Jones.
The Hollywood star was in Johannesburg for Comic-Con Africa on Friday, where he expressed his love for South Africa as a whole.
Speaking to The Citizen, Jones said: "I love South Africa."
The actor also revealed that his love for the country is shared by his wife would like them to retire here.
According to the publication, Jones also specifically mentioned Johannesburg as one of the places he fell in love with.
“Countries are known by their people,” he said. “One thing about South Africa, the people just love not only each other, but they love their country,” he told thepublicstion.
The Hollywood star also appreciated the love he has received since arriving in South Africa.
“Every time I get off a plane here, I’m welcomed like people have known me for years. It’s amazing,” he added.
Jones’ comments about the warmth and love of South Africans were echoed by another Hollywood star, Raven-Symoné, who was recenty in the country while filming 'Cheetah Girls: Next Gen'.
“When I tell you the beauty that is in this country and all over, I’ve been to Durban, and there too, the beauty of it, the earth itself,” she told a Cape Town radio station.
