Selena Gomez celebrates 10 years of 'Revival'
Selena Gomez thanked fans for making her 'Revival' period "memorable".
Ten years ago, Selena Gomez released her second album, 'Revival', cementing her place as one of the music industry's top pop princesses.
Gomez marked the album's October 9 release date by sharing some of her favourite moments from its promotion.
"Happy 10 YEARS of my album Revival! The year was 2015, I had bangs and thought I was a rockstar. What a time," she wrote on Instagram.
"Thank you for those who have sang to every song with me and for making that chapter of my life so memorable!! LOVE YOU."
The 11-track album, which debuted at No.1 on the Billboard 200, included the hit songs 'Kill Em With Kindness', 'Hands to Myself', and 'Same Old', which she co-wrote with Charli XCX.
Rapper A$AP Rocky featured on 'Good for You'. The album was also Gomez's way of shedding her Disney princess image and embracing her sexiness.

Speaking to TIME magazine in 2015, Gomez said the album helped her find her voice both figuratively and literally.
"I had to really discover what was going to work for me because there were times in my career where I sang things that just weren’t me and weren’t for me. You can hear it in my voice. You can hear it when it’s inauthentic," she said.
Gomez, who was 23 then, co-wrote eight songs on the album and took control of the project as an executive producer.
"This whole record is extremely intimate. I did executive produce it. I wanted to know that every single song meant the world to me, whether I wrote it or not. For me, I had to discover what was going to separate me. I know that I’m not the world’s greatest singer, but I do know that I have a unique tone."
Since then, Gomez has released two albums: 2020's 'Rare' and a joint album, 'I Said I Love You First,' in 2025 with her now-husband, Benny Blanco.
The 'Only Murders in the Building' actress also collaborated with Cardi B and Gracie Abrams this year.
