Sophie Ndaba set to make Isidingo cameo
Updated | By ZAlebs
One of South Africa's most loved actresses is set to return to our screens soon.
Sophie Ndaba, best known as Queen on Generations, is making an appearance on another popular soapie.
The actress has revealed that she will play the role of Nkadimeng, the mother of Lerato and Kamogelo, on Isidingo.
The part is only a cameo appearance, but we are excited nonetheless to see Sophie on our screens again.
Sophie, who runs a successful events management business, has been MIA since leaving Generations: The Legacy.
She was fired after 20 years on the show, along with several other top actors during a dispute over contracts in 2014.
Earlier this year, she made a TV comeback as Harriet on High Rollers.
These days, Sophie is more focused on her business ventures, but she appears to be making more TV appearances.
Her role as Nkadimeng in Isidingo will give us a taste of Queen Moroka - albeit a poorer version.
Nkadimeng loves the luxury life, and according to Sophie, will do just about anything to look good.
"Nkadimeng will use her last R200 to do her eyelashes just so she can look nice or go to the salon ask the hairdresser to do her hair and promise to pay at the end of the month. She will do anything to look nice and I don’t mean sell herself to men. She also wants the best for her kids," Sophie told Sowetan.
