'She's literally an angel.' Tate McRae fans praise her new song and music video.
Tate McRae has officially ended her 'So Close to What' album era.
The Canadian singer released the deluxe edition of the album on Friday, November 21, along with a new song, 'Nobody's Girl'.
She also dropped the track's official music video. 'Nobody's Girl' is one of four new songs on the deluxe album.
"Was writing so much poetry while I was on tour in Europe this year & wanted to finish off this era and year with a couple more songs for you guys," McRae said.
"This video is exactly how I envisioned these songs to feel …. ethereal, magical, and free."
'Anything But Love', 'Horsehshoe', and 'Trying on Shoes' are the three other additions to the album. McRae co-wrote the songs with Emile Haynie, Amy Allen, Julia Michaels, Grant Boutin and Ryan Tedder.
"These [songs] mean a lot to me and was blessed to write them."
Renowned photographer and director Thibaut Grevet helmed the music video. The highly stylised visuals see McRae wearing angel wings while singing about a breakup.
"I am nobody's girl, I love it so much/ It's exactly what I wanted/ I am nobody's girl, does it mess you up/ That you had it, and you lost it, nobody," she sings.
McRae hasn't indicated what she will do next now that she has closed one of her most successful music chapters.
She will likely take a break before working on her fourth studio album.
