Tate McRae is ready to say goodbye to the 'So Close to What' era, but not without one final surprise for fans.

The 22-year-old singer has announced that she will be releasing a deluxe edition of the album.

"We had a few more songs that I wanted to share with y'all to close out the 'SC2W' era. I can't wait for you to hear," she said.

McRae released 'So Close to What', her third studio album, in February 2025. The 15-track project featured the singles, 'It's OK I'm OK', '2 Hands', 'Sports Car', and 'Revolving Door'.

It also included a bonus song called 'Siren Sounds'.

'So Close to What' is McRae's first album to reach the #1 spot on the Billboard 200 chart in America. The album also peaked at No. 1 in Australia, New Zealand, Belgium, Canada, and Ireland.

"This was such a magical process writing this album and I am so happy it is out in the world," she wrote on Instagram in February.

"Thank u to everyone who worked on this album with me I admire you all sooooo much... Being 21 felt like a f**king whirlwind and was one of the most confusing yet exhilarating years of my life. Always growing and learning and trying to be as present as possible. I hope u guys love it as much as I do."

Despite the album's popularity, some of the album's popular songs were not nominated for the 2026 Grammys, which place in February.

She did, however, receive her first-ever Grammy nomination. McRae received a nod in the 'Best Dance Pop Recording' category for her song, 'Just Keep Watching'.

The track featured on the soundtrack for the movie 'F1,' starring Damson Idris and Brad Pitt.

"Grammy nominated!!!!!! Thank u!!!!!!!!!!!!!! @recordingacademy," she wrote on her Instagram Stories.

The deluxe edition of 'So Close to What' is out November 21.
