Taylor Swift has sparked excitement amongst her fans after changing the lyrics of two songs on her 'Reputation' album.

'The Fate of Ophelia' hitmaker has made a few minor, but spicy, adjustments to 'I Did Something Bad' and 'Delicate'.

Swifties, as her fans are called, noticed the changes when the album was updated to Dolby Atmos sound on Apple Music.

In the 2017 version of 'I Did Something Bad', Swift sings: "But if he drops my name, then I owe him nothing / And if he spends my change, then he had it comin'."

The new lyrics read, "If a man talks s**t, then I owe him nothing / And if he calls me a b***h, then he had it comin’."

Swift co-wrote the song with Swedish producers, Max Martin and Shellback. The pair also worked with 36-year-old on her latest album, 'The Life of a Showgirl'.

The changes in 'Delicate' were a little more subtle. The old version, "Oh, damn, never seen that color blue," now reads, "Goddamn, never seen that color blue."

Fans are crossing fingers that the lyric changes are a sign 'Reputation (Taylor's Version)' is on the way.

"Reputation TV is silently rolling out??? I forgive u, Miss Swift. OMG," one person wrote on X

Another X user spotted another Easter egg.

"Reputation’ in Dolby Atmos is basically a Taylor’s Version. I can hear literally everything. EVERYTHING. Plus, the lyric changes, y’all Rep TV was released December 12, 2025."

In 2020, Swift started re-recording her first six albums after being blocked from buying her music catalogue on several occasions.

She has re-recorded and released four of the six albums, with only 'Reputation (Taylor's Version)' and her debut self-titled album left.

However, in June 2025, Swift announced that she had finally been able to buy back the original albums. "All of the music I’ve ever made … now belongs… to me," she wrote in a letter.

The letter also gave fans some insight into what would happen to the last two 'Taylor's Version' albums.

"To be perfectly honest, it’s the one album in those first six that I thought couldn’t be improved upon by redoing it. Not the music, or photos, or videos. So I kept putting it off," she wrote

Basically, 'Reputation (TV)' wasn't coming anytime soon - if ever! But she did not write off the project entirely.

"There will be a time (if you’re into the idea) for the unreleased Vault tracks from that album to hatch. I’ve already completely re-recorded my entire debut album, and I really love how it sounds now," she continued.

"Those 2 albums can still have their moments to re-emerge when the time is right, if that would be something you guys would be excited about. But if it happens, it won’t be from a place of sadness and longing for what I wish I could have. It will just be a celebration now."

Swift is currently promoting her 12th studio album, 'The Life of the Showgirl'.  The album features 12 tracks, including a guest appearance from Sabrina Carpenter.
