Cruella has arrived, darlings! Glenn Close has reprised her iconic role as the wicked Cruella de Vil, sending Disney fans into a frenzy with her latest appearance at D23.
Glenn Close is back as one of Disney’s most iconic villains, 'Cruella de Vil', and fans are absolutely loving it.
The 79-year-old actress made a surprise appearance during Disney’s D23 fan event over the weekend, returning as the character that she famously brought to life in the 101 Dalmatians franchise.
Disney Parks teased her return on Instagram with the message, “Cruella has arrived, darlings,” alongside a video showing Close fully embracing her infamous alter ego.
Dressed in a striking red outfit, Close delivered Cruella's signature evil laugh, instantly reminding fans why the character remains one of Disney's most memorable villains.
The video quickly caught the attention of fans, racking up almost 300,000 likes on Instagram and thousands of excited reactions.
Many fans were particularly impressed by Close's appearance, with several taking to the comments to praise the actress for seemingly not having aged.
One fan wrote: "It's been like 20 years and she hasn't aged a minute."
Another added: "She looks the exact same."
A third simply declared: "The queen is back."
Close joined fellow stars including Neil Patrick Harris and Tig Notaro during the 'Horizons: A Carousel of Progress' at the Disney Experiences Showcase over the weekend.
After decades since she first portrayed the fur-loving villain on screen, it seems Cruella de Vil still knows exactly how to steal the show.
In another video shared by Disney 23 on Facebook, the award-winning, legendary actor can be seen playing her iconic role.

Social media users expressed that seeing Close slip back into the role of Cruella was undoubtedly one of the highlights.
