Venus Williams marries Andrea Preti in lavish 5-day ceremony
Introducing Mr and Mrs Preti. Venus Williams has described her Palm Beach wedding as the "happiest, most beautiful, sweetest day".
Tennis ace Venus Williams and model-actor Andrea Preti said their 'I Do's' in a dreamy five-day wedding celebration.
The couple shared pictures from their special day exclusively with Vogue magazine. They held their ceremony in Palm Beach, Florida, in front of close family and friends, including little sister Serena Williams.
Speaking to Vogue, Venus reveals this is actually their second wedding ceremony. They first said their 'I do's' in Ischia, Italy, in September. Preti is Italian.
"We had this dream to do our wedding in Italy, but we didn’t have enough time to do the paperwork — because I’m a foreigner, it can take about eight months. So we decided to have a second wedding."
Venus and Preti met at a Gucci show during Milan Fashion Week in July 2024. They were both invited to a private gathering after the show, and sparks flew instantly.
“She was on the sofa with her friends and family. I told her, ‘You’re so beautiful,’" Preti told Vogue. Venus' sister Lyndrea Price set things in motions when it became clear the pair were smitten with each other.
"I went to the bar to get something, and her sister Lyn came to me and said, ‘Do you mind if we start a WhatsApp conversation? I think my sister likes you.’”
The rest is history. Venus and Preti got engaged in January 2025, but the tennis star only confirmed their engagement in July.

JZ Events planner Jennifer Zabinski helped bring Venus and Preti's second wedding to life.
She also planned Serena's 2017 nuptials to Reddit co-founder Alexis Ohanian. Serena pulled out all the stops to make sure her sister's celebrations were memorable.
“They always say weddings go so fast, and they do," she told Vogue. "We started on Monday. Serena gave us this gift of a beautiful yacht, and she arranged all the food, everything. We had 10 to 12 of our closest family and friends who were in town on the boat, and we were singing, dancing, gossiping, and just enjoying each other.”

Venus wore several different looks throughout the five-day celebration. She walked down the aisle in a custom Georges Hobeika dress.
“I wanted to wear a dress that I thought Andrea would love and that was magical and perfect for a Florida wedding.”
Shortly before their second wedding, the couple visited a courthouse to make their union official.
"For me, the courthouse ceremony was very unique, emotional, and deep. It was the second-best day of my life," Preti said.
He also shared pictures from their big day on social media. "MR & MRS PRETI … it’s a kind of magic. My beautiful wife," he captioned the sweet snaps.
