VIDEO: Lira visits Stilfontein
The Voice SA coach, Lira made good on her promise to visit Stilfontein in the North West, after being very impressed with Almur Marais' performance.
Karen Zoid deliberately put her rockers together in a tenacious trio, and they had to earn their stripes with the Aerosmith classic, "Living on the Edge".
Almur Marais nailed his performance but Karen was conflicted regarding her second choice: "Thinking about the rock thing, tell me who you would keep?" she asked her fellow coaches.
Kahn noted that Marcel had the bigger range, but "I felt your performance was more sincere," he told Alicia-Ann.
"Here's the deal," Karen announced her final decision ... "Marcel's skill level is higher than Alicia-Ann's. Marcel, ek sal jou deurvat, maar ons moet daai goed afleer!"
Lira was really impressed with Almur who is from a small mining town situated between Klerksdorp and Potchefstroom in North West Province of South Africa. "What is in the water in Stilfontein," Lira asked Almur.
"I plan on visiting Stilfontein and finding out for myself," she added.
And she delivered on that promise as she visited Stilfontein the past weekend.
