Singer Will Linley has released a new single,  'Easiest Goodbye'. The track, which was released on Friday, December 5, features Manana & The Imports.

"Easiest Goodbye’ is a song I wrote with my four best friends about two years ago, and I fell in love with it from the very first moment," he said in a statement.

"I just never quite knew when the right time would be to release it. I wanted to share something that felt like home—music that reflected what I listen to every day."

The 24-year-old shared a snippet of the song on Instagram ahead of its release.

Fellow musicians, including Rowlene and J'Something, gave him their seal of approval in the comments section.

Fans also gave it a thumbs up. "The Best Early Christmas gift," one follower wrote. Another person added, "Just in time for DEZEMBA!!! Yes Will! The vibes are now set!"

In September, Linley released his debut album, 'Don't Cry Because It's Over'. The 12-track album featured the singles 'First Love' and 'Up At Night'.

"After releasing my album and beginning to think about what I wanted to put out next, I thought it would be special to share ‘Easiest Goodbye’ during the South African summer, but I didn’t want it to live as just my voice," he said.

"I reached out to my friend Manana to see if he’d be interested in featuring on the track. Within 30 minutes, he sent his vocals back, and I was over the moon. I love this song deeply, and I’m thrilled to finally share it with the world—and even more grateful to release it alongside a friend like him.”

Linley will be busy this festive season. Check out where you can see him live in South Africa here
