The 'Umbrella' singer was reportedly inside her mansion at the time of the shooting.
Police are investigating a shooting incident that occurred outside Rihanna's mansion in Beverly Hills, Los Angeles.
According to reports, the singer was inside the home when a woman fired "approximately 10 shots" at the property. One of the bullets reportedly penetrated a wall.
The suspect, believed to be a woman in her 30s, allegedly opened fire from a vehicle parked outside the home. She fled the scene in a white Tesla.
The woman has since been arrested, and the motive for the shooting is still unknown.
"The suspect’s hair was in braids; she wore a cream-colored blouse; her car was dirty on the bottom. Officers soon caught sight of her vehicle and followed it to a shopping center parking lot in Sherman Oaks, where they arrested her around 30 minutes after the 911 call came in," per The Los Angeles Times.
Rihanna was unharmed in the incident. It's unclear if the 38-year-old musician's children were inside the mansion at the time.
Rihanna welcomed her third child with rapper A$AP Rocky in September 2025. They named the baby girl Rocki Irish.
The couple also has two sons, Riot Rose and RZA Athelston.
Rihanna reportedly owns at least four homes in California. The billionaire purchased a five-bedroom, seven-bathroom mansion in Beverly Hills in 2021.
She bought the house next door.
"With this property and the one next door, [Rihanna] now owns over an acre of land total, with more than 1,020 sq m of living space, plus two swimming pools and off-street parking for at least 10 cars," Real Estate reported.
Rihanna's team has not commented on the shooting incident at her home.
