Police have rearrested another awaiting trial prisoner, who escaped from custody while en-route to the Johannesburg Correctional Services from the Johannesburg Magistrate's Court last month.
Innocent Masango was rearrested this morning in Parkview, after he committed another offence.
Police spokesperson Kay Makhubele says police managed to identify Masango as one of the escaped prisoners.
"Police arrested him and were able to identify him as one of those who escaped from custody last month."

Makhubele says Masongo will still be charged with what he was initially arrested for.
"He will be charged with theft and escaping from lawful custody. He will also be charged with the previous case he was arrested for," Makhubele adds.
Police have managed to rearrest 11 of the escapees, nine are however still on the loose.
