Two Metrorail trains collided on the East Rand on Tuesday morning.

Paramedics say approximately 200 people have been left injured in the collision.
ER24's Russel Meiring says most of the injured were found waking around the scene or sitting on the platform.
"Paramedics immediately treated the patients and triaged them. Once all the patients have been treated they will be transferred to various hospitals."

The railway's spokesperson, Lillian Mofokeng, says no fatalities have been reported.
"A train crashed into another train from the back, while it was stationary at the platform at Geldenhuys station, when the other train was actually authorised to get into the same section."
Mofokeng says a call centre has been established to assist the affected commuters.
