4 killed in Carletonville crash

Four people have been killed on the R501 near Driefontein in Carletonville.
ER24 spokesperson Werner Vermaak says there were six people in the car when the vehicle overturned.
"It is believed that the occupants were ejected when their vehicle rolled over. All six occupants were in the same vehicle."
Vermaak says the two people who survived the accident were treated on the scene and transported to hospital for further care.
It's been a deadly long weekend with several people killed on our roads.
Netcare911 says one adult male drowned at Blue Lagoon Beach, while a seven-year-old had been left fighting for her life in a separate near-drowning at a resort in Umhlanga in KwaZulu-Natal .
