There's major concern following the poisoning of vultures in Limpopo.
A total of 45 vultures and a jackal were found poisoned and killed in the Limpopo National Park.
According to a statement released by the Peace Parks Foundation today, the vulture carcasses were discovered during a routine patrol late last month.

The dead vultures were found lying around the poisoned carcass of a nyala.
"They had all fed on a nyala that had been poisoned, unfortunately resulting in their deaths. All the vultures' beaks and claws were intact, leaving experts to speculate on the true intent and targets of the poison attack."
A pride of lions with cubs was spotted just 200 metres from the crime scene, although none of the lions were harmed.
In order to prevent any further impact from the most recent poisoning, the remains of the nyala, vultures and jackal were burnt after the subsequent to the crime scene analysis was done.
