Six suspects have been arrested
in connection with the trashing of a Vodacom store at
Mall of the North in Polokwane.
The suspects were arrested on charges of malicious damage to property on Thursday.
A group of people, wearing EFF regalia, trashed the store on Sunday.
They are unhappy after a picture of party leaders Julius Malema and Floyd Shivambu was shown at the Vodacom Journalist of the Year awards, captioned "abusers of democracy".

Police spokesperson, Motlafela Mojapelo, says the suspects handed themselves in.
The suspects are expected to appear in the Polokwane Magistrates Court soon.
The Democratic Alliance's (DA) James Smalle says the arrests "are a beginning to quell the inherent thuggery and bullying dished out by the EFF whenever someone expresses a view divergent to theirs".
