Accused in AKA murder case launch fresh bail bid
Two of the accused in the Kiernan ‘AKA’ Forbes and Tebello ‘Tibz’ Motsoane’s murder case are launching a new bid for bail.
Five suspects were arrested for the double murder of the rap star and his friend, which occurred outside the Wish Restaurant on Durban’s Florida Road in 2023.
An eSwatini court granted the extradition application to bring two other suspects, Siyabonga and Malusi Ndimande, to Durban to be added to the case last year.
The accused, Mziwethemba Harvey Gwabeni and Lindokuhle Ndimande,have filed a Notice of Motion for bail based on new facts.
Gwabeni and Ndimande’s latest bail application will be heard by the Durban Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
