ACDP condemns brutal Rhodes Park attack

The African Christian Democratic Party (ACDP) on Tuesday condemned the brutal attack on two couples inside the Rhodes Park in Kensington, Johannesburg.

On Saturday afternoon two couples who were enjoying a leisurely walk in Rhodes Park were attacked by a gang of about 12 men.



The group tied up the men and threw them into the lake leaving them to drown. They then gang raped one woman, the other managed to escape.



Speaking out against the shocking incident, Dudley said: “We convey our deepest sympathies to the victims and their families and pray that God is with them at this difficult time”.



Dudley added: “We also call on the community to come forward with any information that could assist the police in the arrest of the perpetrators”.
