An alleged serial rapist has been arrested in Mpumalanga.
Police say the 26-year-old faces fourteen counts of rape.
Police spokesperson Brigadier Selvy Mohlala says the suspect was first arrested for rape in 2013, but the case was provisionally withdrawn awaiting DNA test results.
"DNA results have since positively linked the suspect with the fourteen cases. Six of the offences were committed while his case was withdrawn.
"The forensic report further revealed that four of the cases were committed in Sabie," Mohlala says.
The suspect is expected to appear in the Sabie Magistrate's Court on Thursday.
