ANC to give houses, jobs to Nelson Mandela Bay residents - Ramaphosa

The ANC lost the metro to the Democratic Alliance during the previous local government elections in 2016.
ANC president Cyril Ramaphosa has called on residents of Qqeberha to take hand power back to the party in Nelson Mandela Bay.
Ramaphosa was leading a door-to-door campaign in the area interacting with ANC supporters.
He said under the ANC administration many RDP houses were built for poor people, unlike under the coalition government led by the DA.
The ANC lost the metro to the Democratic Alliance during the previous local government elections in 2016.
“Nelson Mandela Bay must come back into the hands of the ANC, because those who are governing the city are not meeting the needs of the people, the houses you see were built by the ANC.”
Ramaphosa has promised to create jobs for the youth and open more factories in the Eastern Cape.
“We will come back here and open firms and factories, we are creating jobs on an ongoing basis, we want to create jobs for the youth, we are busy working out clear plans to create jobs for our people, during Covid-19 may jobs were lost but we have brought help.”
Eastern Cape has recorded the highest and expanded unemployment rates, according to Stats SA.
