ANC to probe MP's threats against Sunday World reporter

The African National Congress (ANC) has vowed to investigate violent threats made by one of its MPs against Sunday World reporter Ngwako Malatji.
ANC spokesperson Pule Mabe says the party will investigate Boy Mamabolo’s conduct and take appropriate action.
In a telephonic recording released by Sunday World on Thursday, Mamabolo is heard swearing at Malajti and threatening to shoot him.
“The ANC condemns in the strongest possible terms the behaviour of its Member of Parliament,” says Mabe.

“The ANC finds this conduct unacceptable and inconsistent with the values of the organisation. This behaviour is also not in keeping with what is expected of a public representative.”
Malatji has since opened a case of intimidation against Mamabolo.
The ANC MP also hit the headlines earlier this year after Mantoa Malema , the wife of Economic Freedom Fighters (EFF) leader Julius Malema, instituted legal proceeding over domestic violence claims he made in Parliament.
