Tshwane metro police have warned of the closure of several streets due to a protest in the city.
Members of the ANC in Tshwane will protest what they claim to be poor service delivery in the capital.
They are expected to gather from 10:00 at old Putco depot on Friday morning.
Tshwane metro police spokesperson Rebone Molapo advised motorists to make use of alternative routes.
“The route of the march will start from the gathering point, the marchers will march on Struben Street, turn right onto Sophie de Bryun Street, turn left onto Madiba Street, proceed on Madiba Street until they reach the Tshwane House between Lillian Ngoyi Street and Sisulu Street.
“They are expected to disperse from the Tshwane House at 14:00.
“Tshwane metro police officers will be deployed to monitor march and all affected streets. Motorists are advised to avoid affected streets and use alternative routes.”
