ANC urges members to submit evidence to Zondo commission

The African National Congress (ANC) has urged its members to give their full cooperation to the commission of inquiry into state capture.
The party says those who have been summoned to submit evidence at the Zondo commission must do so.
The ANC's Pule Mabe says the commission will assist in bringing to book those who have been implicated in wrongdoing and help the country in dealing with the problematic chapter in its history.
"The allegations and reports on this matter have done immense damage to the country," says Mabe.

The commission headed by Deputy chief justice Raymond Zondo, started on Monday morning in Parktown, Johannesburg.
The will probe claims of state capture at various government departments and state-owned enterprises.
Zondo has also expressed his disappointment in the low interest by the public to submit evidence.
"We all know that there are many people out there who know and have evidence."
Zondo earlier pleaded with members of the public who has information on state capture to submit it to the commission.
