Another explosion rocks Pretoria
There has been an explosion at a bakery in Pretoria West.
Tshwane emergency services say one man has been critically injured.
Spokesperson Johan Pieterse says: "Emergency services responded to a bakery on fire. On arrival there was an explosion. I think one oven exploded."
The patient has been airlifted to hospital for further medical treatment.
Pieterse says the exact cause of the fire and subsequent explosion will be investigated.
On Monday, a paint shop was engulfed in flames in Pretoria West.
The blaze broke out at a business on Court and Soutter streets.
There were explosions inside the store due to the paint products.
It took firefighters several hours to douse the flames.
