The South African Football Association (Safa) has postponed the announcement of the new coach for the country's national soccer team.

The naming of Bafana Bafana's latest coach, which was scheduled for Saturday, has been postponed due to global Covid-19 travel issues.
"We will reschedule the announcement to next week and further updates will be provided," Safa said.
Safa has also apologised for the inconvenience caused to fans in a shortly worded statement released on Friday.
Former Real Madrid manager and Manchester United assistant manager Carlos Queiroz is touted as the favourite to succeed Molefi Ntseki.

Querioz lead the national team for two years from 2000, which saw them battle it out in the 2002 Africa Cup of Nations quarterfinals and qualify for the World Cup.
The 68-year-old's first order of business is said to be the 2022 World Cup qualifying campaign in June.
