Bathabile Dlamini resigns as MP

Former ministers Jeff Radebe, Siyabonga Cwele, Susan Shabangu, Malusi Gigaba, Nomaindia Mfeketo, Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba, and former speaker Baleka Mbete have all also resigned.
Former Minister for Women in the Presidency, Bathabile Dlamini has resigned as an African National Congress (ANC) Member of Parliament (MP).

ANC caucus spokesperson, Nonceba Mhlauli confirmed on Tuesday that Dlamini was the latest in a string of MPs to step down.

Former ministers Jeff Radebe, Siyabonga Cwele, Susan Shabangu, Malusi Gigaba, Nomaindia Mfeketo, Dipuo Letsatsi-Duba, and former speaker Baleka Mbete have all also resigned.
In Dlamini's resignation letter, which Mhlauli confirmed has been widely spread on social media, she says the governing party is not ready to be led by a woman.
Mhlauli referred queries on the letter itself to the party's national structures, which could not immediately be reached for comment.
ANC National spokesperson, Pule Mabe could not immediately be reached for comment.
