Blaze at building in Laudium

Emergency services in Tshwane Emergency Services battled a raging fire at a two-storey building in Laudium, south of Pretoria on Thursday.
The building, housing several local shops, caught on fire earlier in the day.
Spokesperson Charles Mabaso says efforts are being made to extinguish the blaze.
"Currently we are having a building fire in Laudium, corner Umber and Navy street and we have activated three of our emergency services stations to the incident.
"The top floor is fully involved and the ground floor, only two rooms are involved."

Mabaso says no injuries or fatalities have been reported.
"An assessment is still being conducted, so far no injuries have been reported."
The cause of the fire is still unknown.
"It will be a subject of investigation once operations have dealt with the fire itself," Mabaso adds.
