The Wilderness Search and Rescue (WSAR) has retrieved the body of an unknown man on Table Mountain.
WSAR spokesperson Johan Marais says people who were hiking heard rocks fall on Monday afternoon.
Upon investigation, they spotted the body of a man among the rocks.
"Our team reached the body after 6 ‘o clock and the paramedic who was with us declared him to be deceased and at that time it was too difficult and dangerous to carry the body out," says Marais.
