Body of murdered Fatima Patel exhumed

Police say the body of the murdered Fatima Patel has been exhumed.
The mother of three was strangled, beaten and shot in the face in her Nirvana home in April.
Her husband, Polokwane businessman Rameez Patel, is accused of killing her.
He is out on bail of R250 000 and is expected back in the Polokwane Magistrate's Court on 22 September.
Police would not divulge much details about the exhumation.
Limpopo police spokesperson Ronel Otto says: "The body was exhumed on Wednesday for further DNA testing."
During Rameez Patel's bail application, the court heard how he was not at the scene when police arrived.
State witness, Jan Botha, a patrol officer of the Nirvana Community Police Forum, was the first among security people to arrive on scene.
He found Fatima lying on the floor, her head in her husband's lap.
He told the court Rameez disappeared before police arrived and that "when he came back, he had had a shower, and had changed his clothes".
