Body of man found in Pretoria West
The body of a man was found in bushes in Erasmia, west of Pretoria, Gauteng police said on Friday.
Constable Tumisang Moloto said that on Thursday morning security guards patrolling the plots around Erasmia found a bakkie in nearby bushes.
"On arrival, the police found a gold Ford Bantam parked in the bushes with the doors opened. Furthermore, members discovered a body of a white male aged between 30 and 35 lying at the back of the bakkie," Moloto said in a statement.
"The man was declared dead at the scene by the paramedics. The deceased had visible injuries [and] bruises on the upper body."
Moloto said no one had been arrested and police were investigating.
A murder docket had been opened.
