Body of teen found in Jukskei River
Police in Alexandra are investigating the death of a 15-year-old girl whose body was found floating in the Jukskei River in Alexandra, north of Johannesburg.
The unidentified body was found on Monday afternoon.
Spokesperson Tshwarelo Mabulane said the investigation into the cause of her death is underway.
“We have opened a case of inquest after a body of a female aged 15 under the bridge in the Jukskei River in Alexandra. The circumstances surrounding the death are still unknown.”
