A three year-old boy has died in a fire at a house in Elsburg, Germiston this morning.
According to Netcare911, reports from the scene indicate that a mother and her two children were in the house at the time of the incident.
"Paramedics worked alongside other services on scene including officials from the Ekurhuleni Fire Department," says Netcare 911's Athlenda Mathe.

"The father who was called back from work was on site and he was taken to hospital for shock treatment," says Ntladi.
Ntladi says investigations are underway to establish the cause of the fire.
"Preliminary investigations indicate that the fire started in the bedroom where the boy was found," says Ntladi.
