Cele vows to solve Masoyi policing issues
Updated | By Sinethemba Madolo
Police Minister Bheki Cele has promised Mpumalanga residents their grievances will not fall on deaf ears.
Cele addressed members of the community in Masoyi, Mpumalanga on Friday.
Residents told Cele that police investigations are sometimes delayed, resulting in them taking the law into their own hands.

"These allegations we can't leave them hanging, we have to find out about them, are they genuine and then we take appropriate steps after that - this what we call consequential management,” said Cele.
"But also these cases will have to be found. Take them, write them down, make sure that they are all looked at then starting on a clean slate."
Cele said national commissioner Khaya Sitole will be in charge of cold cases.
