Centurion braces for more flooding as rain continues

On Monday, thee people had to be rescued from a tree due to the flooding.
Tshwane Emergency Medical Services (EMS) say they are bracing themselves for more flooding in the Centurion area.
This comes after widespread destruction on Monday due to persistent rain.
EMS spokesperson, Charles Mabaso says on Monday, thee people had to be rescued from a tree due to the flooding.
In addition, EMS officials and NGOs relocated 5 informal structure dwellers in a shelter in Lyttleton; 8 informal dwellers in Bremmer were relocated to a shelter in Atteridgeville and in Mamelodi, 175 people needed to housed in a church,

"We are expecting that people will continue to report incidents of flooding, but we are hoping the threat to live will reduce because people will now be cautious given the conditions and circumstances that were prevailing yesterday," says Mabaso.
"We are hoping that people are now more cautious."
