Coalition deal between ANC, PAC & AIC on the cards
Updated | By Maryke Vermaak
The ANC is on its way to brokering a coalition deal with the PAC and AIC to give it control of Ekurhuleni after last week's municipal elections.

No party received a majority in the Ekurhuleni metro during the elections, forcing parties into coalitions.
The ruling party is close to striking a deal with two opposition parties a deal which will ensure it retains power in the metro.
Ekurhuleni was one of three Gauteng metros with no outright majority with the ANC that won a 109 seats in the council - just short of a majority.
