Complete recovery for majority of St Augustine’s staff

The vast majority of staff members from the St Augustine’s hospital in Durban have recovered from the coronavirus.
Netcare’s regional director Craig Murphy says 77 out of the 80 staff members have completely recovered.
St Augustine’s made headlines in March after after 135 patients contracted Covid-19 from someone who was admitted to the facility’s emergency department.

Fifteen people subsequently lost their lives due to Covid-related illnesses.
Murphy says the hospital has intensified its screening processes and has already started implementing the report's recommendations.
