Condolences sent to Godrich Gardee from across the political spectrum
Updated | By Sibahle Motha
Messages of condolences and support are pouring in from across the political spectrum for the family of former EFF secretary-general Godrich Gardee.

The Economic Freedom Fighters confirmed on Monday that the body of Gardee’s daughter was found outside Nelspruit.
Hillary Gardee had gone missing on Friday after being last seen at a shopping centre.
Several ANC MPs sent their condolences to the Gardee family ahead of a debate on Freedom Day in the National Assembly on Tuesday.
Social Development Minister Lindiwe Zulu says the continuous killing of the most vulnerable in society shows we are a long way from defeating gender-based violence.

"For start we will pass our condolences to the family of Gardee and the EFF because we know that they will be there for him. This for us continues to raise the problem of gender-based violence in particular and violence in South Africa as a whole.
"It also calls upon us men and women, members of parliament and members of our communities to put aside all forms of political challenges and focus on this programme. It is something that shames all of us in general as South Africans. It doesn't point a finger to any political organisation. It is our plea as a political organisation to unite against this issue."
Other MPs also sent their condolences, include ministers Pravin Gordhan and Patricia de Lille.
Hillary's body, with wounds to her head, was found dumped near Mbombela.
Police are investigating a case of murder.
