Corruption-accused Tshwane metro cops suspended with full pay
Thirteen Tshwane metro police officers, who are facing charges of corruption, have all been suspended by the department.
The department announced on Wednesday that it has started disciplinary processes against them following their arrest in August.
The officers are accused of soliciting bribes from motorists.
They are on bail ranging from R1000 to R5000.

"The TMPD is serious in ruling out corruption within its members, and these cases are investigated further. More arrests cannot be ruled out. Members of the public are encouraged to come forward and report corruption," says metro police spokesperson Isaac Mahamba.
The officers will be on full pay until their respective disciplinary processes are completed.
