Dlamini-Zuma visited the Waterberg district in Limpopo on Saturday as part of the District Development Model in Bela-Bela.

She lamented the state of the municipalities under the Waterberg district, adding that corruption has further added to crisis.

“We started well with Covid-19, doing what we were supposed to do and then the corruption issue came and they just muddied the waters completely and corruption is very bad. It really is the enemy of the people because that money is for the better life of the people,” she said.

“More than that it also corrodes the trust between government and the people, so it’s something that we must really not taking lying down. We must deal with it.”
