Covid-19 deaths surpass 15 000
Covid-19 related deaths have breached the 15 000 mark and now stand at 15 004.
This is an increase of 115 deaths in the 24 hours leading up to Monday evening.
According to statistics released by Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize, the total number of Covid-19 infections stands at 639 362, while recoveries stand at 566 555.

There has also been a slight improvement in the recovery rate in the last 24 hours.
The Covid-19 recovery rate now stands at 88.6%, which is an increase of 0.6% from the previous 24-hour cycle.
