The controversial pastor charged alongside church members Lusanda Sulani and Zukiswa Sitho.

One of the applications relates to the ongoing delays in his trial and the second was a bail application based on new facts.

The National Prosecuting Authority (NPA) in the Eastern Cape says it will now be handed down on November 4.

Spokesperson Anelisa Ngcakani says some of the officials from the High Court have tested positive for Covid-19.

"The judgment for the bail application has been postponed to the 4th of November, reason being that some official tested positive in the PE High Court, therefor, Pastor Omotoso is undergoing quarantine.”
