Covid-19 recovery rate climbs to 84%
South Africa’s Covid-19 recovery rate has increased to 84%, in the 24 hours leading up to Monday evening.
Statistics released by Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize, show that the country’s new Covid-19 infections have significantly decreased with only 1 677 new cases recorded on Monday.
Out of the 611 450 tests done, 516 494 recoveries have been recorded.

Unfortunately, a further 100 people have succumbed to the deadly virus bringing the total death toll to 13 159.
