Covid-19 recovery rate increases to 85%
The country’s Covid-19 recovery rate now stands at 85%, an increase of 1% in the last 24 hours leading up to Wednesday.
Statistics released by Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize show that 525 242 people have recovered from the coronavirus.
A total of 2 684 new Covid-19 cases have been identified in the latest 24-hour cycle, during which 20 137 tests were conducted.

A further 194 deaths have been recorded, bringing the cumulative number of deaths to 13 502.
