Covid-19 recovery rate increases further to 86%
The Covid-19 recovery rate in the country has further jumped to 86% in just 24 hours.
Daily statistics released by Health Minister Dr Zweli Mkhize show that this is an increase of 2% since Wednesday.
Out of 618 286 total infections recorded since the start of the pandemic, 531 338 people have recovered from the deadly virus.

Furthermore, only 2 585 new cases have been identified in just one day.
However, the country’s death toll continues to increase and currently stands at 13 628.
