CRL commission chair opens case against Pastor Mboro
The chairperson of the CRL Rights Commission says she is being threatened because she is a woman.
Mboro, whose real name is Paseka Motsoeneng, has made numerous threats against the commission's chairperson Thoko Mkhwanazi Xaluva.
Xaluva has since opened a case of intimidation against him.
She says she fears for her life and that of her family.
This follows the release of their report into the commercialisation of religion, which has been met with mixed reaction.
Xaluva says Mboro's attack on her is simply because she is a woman who speaks truth to power.
Mboro has publicly labelled Xaluva as corrupt and had made several defamatory statements against her.
Earlier this month, the controversial pastor demanded an apology from the religious commission.
Mboro says claims that he went to heaven and took a selfie with God are false.
But Xaluva told Jacaranda FM News: "We have no intention of apologising to Mr Mboro."
She says Mboro had been summoned to explain the photos which had gone viral on social media as well as claims that these photos were being sold for profit.
